Mandy earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. She is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Technique, as well as an active member of the Washington East Asian Medicine Association (WEAMA). Additionally, she recently joined the board of directors of the Maternity Acupuncture Association (MAA), which strives to bring awareness to the public of the benefits of acupuncture during conception, pregnancy, birth and the postpartum phase. Mandy has experience in treating a wide variety of conditions, including pain, stress/anxiety, hypertension, digestive issues, post-stroke and chemotherapy side effects, to name only a few. She has special interest in all aspects of women’s health, including fertility, pregnancy, post-partum and menopause, as well as stress management, oncology and pediatrics.
Mandy has had a life-long passion for natural medicine and healing. She devoted many years to training in the martial arts, where she was introduced to concepts central to East Asian medical philosophy. After starting a family and moving to the west coast, Mandy decided to pursue her dream of becoming a healer and went back to school to study Acupuncture and East Asian medicine. Mandy enjoys working with all age groups, from children to the elderly and strives to bring a nurturing, gentle and balanced spirit to her practice.
